The mission of Open (the parent organization of OpenHackathon) is to establish Greece as a strategic destination for companies, hubs, universities, and venture capitalists seeking partnerships within global technology ecosystems. Fostering innovation, learning from each other, building relationships, and driving new business—always remaining “open” to new ideas and focused on where the future of technology is born.
Since 2024, Open introduced OpenHackathon as an event aligned with this mission—a more hands-on technical event, a hackathon that provides a platform for local innovative ideas to emerge. This event offers opportunities to learn about cutting-edge technologies and infrastructures, while also providing guidance and mentoring from experts within the local ecosystem.
