We build an assistive navigation system that transforms the visual environment around a blind person into a real-time 3D auditory representation. Using a smartphone camera, depth estimation, computer vision, and spatial audio, the system will turn surrounding objects and surfaces into sounds positioned around the user, with distance, direction, and size reflected through audio.

We developed Voice Guard, an emergency assistant for individuals who lose the ability to speak or move during a medical crisis. It acts as their voice by automatically calling for help, sharing their location with loved ones, and allowing them to easily communicate with first responders using simple screen taps.

IDEA

We developed Noima, the first working AI for Greek Sign Language, to bridge the communication gap at public service desks. It allows Deaf citizens to sign directly to a camera and instantly translates their signs into spoken Greek for the employee, providing immediate accessibility for routine everyday interactions while reserving scarce human interpreters for more complex situations.

We developed a gentle daily tool for people in the early stages of memory loss to help them stay connected to their identity and loved ones. By using familiar photos and music to spark natural conversations, it invites users to easily recall and preserve their most meaningful stories in their own voice.
