Vasilis Linakis is a senior technology and business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the digital industry. He is the founder and CEO of Significa, which he grew from a self-funded, two-person startup into one of Greece’s leading digital agencies, reaching 100+ professionals and over €5M in revenue at the height of the country’s financial crisis. Under his leadership the company has delivered highly demanding digital projects for major enterprises across banking, aviation, tourism, and telecommunications, earned more than 150 national and international awards, and expanded internationally through strategic partnerships and offices beyond Greece.
Earlier in his career, Vasilis served as eBusiness Director at Forthnet Group, where he built and scaled the Group’s web development and datacenter services divisions, and held technology leadership roles at ALTEC Communications Network and Arcadia Lines. Across these positions he has combined deep technical expertise with commercial strategy, setting business goals, driving digital transformation, and building high-performing teams from the ground up.
He holds an MSc in Advanced Methods in Computer Science (Human-Computer Interaction) and a BSc in Mathematics & Computer Science, both from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London. Known for his strongly analytical, strategy-first mindset, Vasilis is passionate about leading by example, empowering people, and driving cultural and organizational change.
