Rafal Charlampowicz is an accessibility and assistive technology specialist with over 20 years of experience. At Credit Agricole Bank Polska, he works closely with UX, product and development teams on digital accessibility, conducts accessibility testing, and trains other testers. He also collaborates with AccessibilityOz, an accessibility consultancy based in Australia. His work spans a broad range of accessibility topics, with a particular focus on the needs of blind and visually impaired users.
He combines accessibility consultancy with hands-on experience of assistive technologies and a strong understanding of users’ needs. Over the years, he has worked with global companies, smaller firms and technical universities, testing and advising on a variety of assistive technology solutions. He has particular experience with modern orientation and mobility aids for blind people. His background also includes work with text-to-speech technologies and training blind users in the use of computers and assistive technologies.
